Bioenergy Life Science (BLS) will showcase its latest ingredient innovations at SupplySide Global, including a cellular health formulation and a creatine ingredient suitable for gummies, ready-to-drink beverages, and more.
“Our scientists and R&D teams work ahead of the curve to develop ingredients that are innovative, clinically studied, and do it better. Our branded ingredients and product solutions are ready to help you go beyond the ordinary,” said Marianne McDonagh, vice president of sales.
Cellular Resistance
RQX, a synergistic co-crystal of quercetin and nicotinamide integrated with D-Ribose, is a high-bioavailability cellular health formulation designed to lower inflammation and glycation.
The three active ingredients have a timed release to improve their efficacy.
“This is a perfect example of how our new clinical science, combined with our advanced co-crystal technology, is taking the industry in exciting new directions,” said McDonagh. “It is a category game-changer.”
Stable, Formula-Friendly Creatine
The company has also introduced PeakPwr, a combination of D-Ribose and creatine monohydrate that activates complementary pathways for improved cellular metabolism, for energy, repair, exercise performance, and post-workout recovery.
“PeakPwr is an easy and logical way to differentiate your product. Creatine and D-Ribose are quite simply better together. Creatine Monohydrate helps initiate ATP production, while D-Ribose provides the critical building blocks to keep it going, even during stress,” said McDonagh. “It is suitable for tablets, capsules, RTDs, powdered stacks, gummies, bars, liquids and much more.”
Scientific Panel Discussion
On Oct. 28, from 3:30-5:30, Michael Crabtree, ND, director of scientific affairs and product development, will participate in the panel discussion “More than the formula: What R&D needs to succeed.”
“Modern analytical techniques and better theoretical understanding have enabled researchers to accelerate the development of ingredients that are more synergistic and lead to broader benefits,” said Crabtree.
The session will take place in Islander Ballroom E, Lower Level, and will conclude with a Q&A and happy hour.
Functional Product Concepts
BLS will feature functional rice cereal treats made with PeakPwr, suitable as a pre-workout.
The company will also showcase electrolyte chews featuring RiboVite, a patent-pending combination of D-Ribose and B vitamins designed to enhance B vitamins’ bioavailability and activation.
Additionally, the company will feature RiaGev-WS citrus-flavored stick packs, which are patented, water-soluble, and formulated to boost NAD+.
“While you’re at our booth, be sure to ask us about PureSweet, our breakthrough Reb M solution that delivers true sugar-like sweetness with zero calories, no bitterness, and no aftertaste,” said McDonagh.
Those interested can schedule a time to meet with BLS here.
